GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RENTAL

WELCOME:
Keys will be handed over after payment of the balance upon your arrival. We will accompany you to your apartment or chalet and inform you of all the entertainment and activities available on-site and in La Bresse.

OCCUPANCY OF PREMISES:
The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and ensure it is used in accordance with the intended purpose of the premises. For sleeping arrangements with bunk beds, we remind you that the upper bunk is not suitable for children under 6 years old. The rental agreement concluded between the various parties to this contract may not benefit third parties, even partially, except with written agreement from the owner. Any violation of this clause may result in immediate termination of the rental at the tenant’s expense, with the rental payment remaining permanently acquired by the owner.

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS:
Any cancellation must be notified by letter or email.

1. By the tenant to the owner more than 60 days before the first day of rental:
The deposit will be refunded minus €80 for administrative fees per reserved accommodation.

2. By the tenant to the owner between 59 and 30 days before the first day of rental:
The deposit remains with the owner.

3. By the tenant to the owner less than 30 days before the first day of rental:
The deposit remains with the owner and the rental balance is due.

4. If the tenant does not show up within 24 hours following the arrival date indicated on this contract:
This contract becomes null and void and the owner may dispose of their property.
The deposit remains with the owner and the rental balance is due.

5. By the owner to the tenant:
The owner will refund the tenant double the amount of sums paid.

COVID-19 and Specific Cancellation Conditions:

The deposit will be fully refunded in case of force majeure (travel ban) and/or in case of a new government decision (new lockdown). No other reason will be accepted as grounds for cancellation.

INTERRUPTION OF STAY:
In case of interruption of the stay by the tenant, no refund will be made.

UTILITIES:
Electricity, water, gas, and heating charges are included in the rental price for all our rentals and for any duration. We recommend that our guests ensure windows are closed and lights are turned off during their absence from the rental. In all cases, the tourist tax is additional. Currently, the tourist tax, paid to the municipality of La Bresse, is €1.05 per day per person aged 18 and over for all accommodations except the Group Gîte, classified 4 stars, where the tax is €1.75 per day per person aged 18 and over.

INTERNET:
Upon your arrival, the usage charter for the WIFI Hotspot of SARL LE COUAROGE will be displayed at reception, and you agree to read and comply with it in its entirety and acknowledge that your equipment, its content, and the use of SARL LE COUAROGE’s WIFI Hotspot are entirely your responsibility.

PETS:
For everyone’s respect, pets must always be kept on a leash outside the chalet and within a 200-meter radius. Additionally, pets must never be left alone in the apartments. A supplement of €30 per animal is required for stays of 1 to 3 nights. €60 from 4 nights onwards.

PARKING:
Each apartment has a reserved parking space. If you have multiple cars, we will indicate one or more additional spaces.

BREAKFAST:
Available upon reservation 48 hours in advance at the price of €10 per person.

ADDITIONAL HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES:
Cleaning products are not included. We provide blankets, pillows, and pillowcases. If you do not bring your own sheets and towels, you can rent them on-site at the rate of €10 per person for sheets for the duration of the stay and €5 per person for towels (1 large towel, 1 small towel, 1 washcloth). Daily cleaning of your rental can be provided at the rate of €20 per hour. Use of the dryer and washing machine with tokens sold at €4 each.

ENTERTAINMENT AND ACTIVITIES:
Sauna: €10 per person for a 45/60-minute session for 1 to 3 people.
